With the resignation of Curt Moreno, the Executive Board of the Grand Junction Ppeace Officer's Association has changed a little. Following the guidelines of the By-Laws, effective February, 2008, Dave Stassen took the role of President of the Association, Suzette Freidenberger became the Vice President, Paul Frey, Steve Moore, and Mary Speer retained their positions as Treasurere, Turstee, and Associate Turstee respectively.

Because of this shuffle, an opening for Secretary was created. The existing Board announced the need for someone to fill this position and after a number of people expressed aninterest, a white ballot was declared and Amanda Butner was appointed to be the Association's Secretary till hte election oin December 2008.
